Full Description

Venetsanos Winery

Your Santorini private tour includes wine tasting stops at the Venetsanos Winery, a winery that still employs the traditional practice of Santorinian winemaking. Along with tasting the wines, you also get a chance to learn many of their secrets.

Archeological Site

Take a moment to see how the ancient Minoans lived 3600 years ago when you stop at the Akrotiri Archeological Site. When the volcano erupted, this civilization was lost and frozen in time. Now, archeologists have unearthed the town, and you have a chance to see the sophisticated civilization that includes wall paintings, furniture and multi-storied buildings.

Beaches

A trip to Santorini must include a visit to the two main beaches: Black Beach and Red Beach. As the name suggests, the Red Beach has red sand as well as beautiful rock formations. The Black Beach is made of black volcanic pebbles and is designated the largest beach on the island.

Megalochori

The traditional village of Megalochori is home to beautiful traditional architecture along its charming, narrow streets.

Emporio

On this stop on the tour, you see historic windmills and amazing views of the island from the largest village on the island, Emporio. You can also take a moment to visit two ruins: the Byzantine fortress Kasteli and Goulas.

Pyrgos

As you walk along the narrow streets of the village of Pyrgos, make sure to visit the Venetian Castle ruins. This village was once the capital of the island.

Prophet Ilias

Take a moment on the tour to enjoy 360-degree views of the island, the Aegean Sea and surrounding views from the peak of Prophet Ilias, the highest point on the island. Also visit the Greek Orthodox monastery.

Firostefani

Make sure to get your photo of the famous blue-domed church in Firostefani.

Imerovigli

The village of Imerovigli provides amazing views of the volcano, caldera and the Aegean Sea. It is also home to the rock Skaros, where you can take a moment to look for pirates as the ancient Santorinians did.

Oia

With our flexible itineraries, it is easy to ensure you are in Oia for sunset. It is one of the most beautiful parts of the island with amazing views of the caldera and surrounding island.
